Check-In Time

3PM. Reservations guaranteed with pre-payment or a valid credit card will be held for late arrival all night.  If you arrive prior to 3PM, we will make every effort to accommodate an early check-in.

Check-In Requirements

Photo ID is required for all registered guests.  To protect against fraudulent use of credit and debit cards, the cardholder must present his or her card at check-in in order for the hotel to process payment.  Guests may not utilize someone else’s card for payment. 

Cash and travelers checks are accepted forms of payment.  However a credit card will be required for incidentals regardless of whether you plan on incurring additional charges.  In lieu of a credit card, a $75 cash deposit is accepted as well.  

Personal or business checks are not accepted.  

Check-Out Time

11AM.  For late check-out requests, please check with the front desk during your stay for availability and fee.

Credit / Debit Card Policy

Upon arrival, the card presented for payment will be authorized to ensure funds are available on the account to settle your full and final charges.  This may include any estimated incidental charges in addition to your scheduled room rent.  If you choose to change your payment method, the hold will be released after check-out but funds may not be available again for several days, depending on the cardholder’s bank’s policy.   Our observation has been that most banks hold funds for 3-10 business days after check-out.  The hotel is not responsible for any resulting overdrafts.  We highly recommend using a credit card if timing of available funds is important to you.  

The cardholder must present his or her own card for payment.  The hotel does not simply bill the card number input during the reservation process.  This is done to ensure that the cardholder is the one that is authorizing use of the card.  In case the cardholder will not be physically present at the hotel, the cardholder may submit a written authorization form for a different person to sign for the charges on his or her behalf.  Please call the hotel directly for instructions.  Otherwise, the guest will not be permitted to check into the hotel. 


Parking is free at the hotel on a first come, first serve basis.  However, space is limited to one space per occupied room.  Truck Parking is no longer available.  

Buses that rent at least as many rooms as the number of parking spaces that the bus occupies are welcome to park on the hotel's lot. 

If parking is not available adjacent to the hotel's building, all guests with passenger vehicles, including pickup trucks, SUVs and small box trucks may utilize the Texas Roadhouse parking lot, located directly across from the hotel.  The hotel will issue you a complimentary parking pass to avoid fines/towing.  Parking in areas that are not designated for overnight parking or parking illegally may result in the vehicle being towed at the vehicle owner's expense.  


Comfort Suites Waco is a pet-free hotel.  Bringing a pet inside the building will result in a $75 cleaning fee per day as well as an eviction with forfeiture of room rent.  Service Animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome.  Please note that Emotional Support Animals are not considered Service Animals for this purpose.  

Reservation Policy

A valid credit card or pre-payment is required to make a reservation.  The cancellation deadline will be included when booking and may vary during special events and/or for group reservations.  Once the cancelation has passed, the hotel may elect to verify funds on the credit card used to reserve your room(s) by placing a hold in the amount of one night's stay per room.  If funds cannot be verified, the hotel will cancel the reservation for failure to provide a payment guarantee.  Cancelling after the deadline or failure to arrive on your scheduled date will result in a charge for the 1st night's stay and any remaining nights will automatically be cancelled.  No-shows on reservations that require a minimum stay will be billed for the respective minimum nights.  

If booking the Advanced Purchase Rate, the reservation is required to be pre-paid at the time of booking and is non-changeable, non-refundable and non-cancelable.  


Comfort Suites Waco is a smoke-free hotel.  Smoking inside the building will result in a $150 cleaning fee per day.  A designated smoking area is located outside.  


The hotel does not offer a shuttle service.  Uber and Lyft operate as ride-share services in the Waco area.   For Magnolia Market related travel, a courtesy shuttle does offer a pick-up from the Magnolia Table which is in walking distance to the hotel.  The shuttle goes to the Magnolia Market at the Silos as well as a few other stops along the route.  While our hotel has no affiliation with any of the transporation options, we have observed that Uber, Lyft and the Magnolia shuttles have proven to be generally successful for convenience and value.
